MSc. Applied Maths, Computer Vision, Machine Learning

École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay, France

September 2019 - November 2020

During this year I’ve learned a lot about various topics at the intersection of mathematics and computer science.

I was particularly interested in topics such as computational statistics, optimisation, and kernel methods from their theoretical principals to their implementations details.

Some courses:

  • Computational statistics
  • Topological data analysis
  • Convex optimisation
  • Foundations of distributed and large scale computing optimization
  • Probabilistic graphical models
  • Kernel Methods for Machine Learning
  • Remote sensing data: from sensor to large-scale geospatial data exploitation
  • Random matrix theory
  • Longitudinal data analysis: geometric and statistical approaches
  • Multi-Scale models and convolutional neural networks
  • Point cloud modeling and processing

Visiting Student

National University of Singapore, Singapore

August 2018 - December 2018

I had the chance to study as a visiting student at NUS during my curriculum at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne.

Courses work:

MSc. Computer Science

Université de Technologie de Compiègne, France

September 2014 - June 2019

The Université de Technologie de Compiègne is kind of a special university in France.

There, I’ve studied applied mathematics, computer science and engineering, languages and humanities.

The last two years focused on a data analysis course work. I also got two minors: one in mathematical modeling and another in philosophy of technology.

Some courses in mathematics and computer science:

  • Numerical Analysis
  • Fourier Analysis
  • General Algebra and Applications
  • Statistics
  • Data Analysis and Machine Learning
  • Object-oriented Design and Programming
  • RDBS and database design
  • Discrete and Convex Optimisation
